Reborn

When I think of rebirth, I think of a desire for change.

Like watching hopecore videos on Instagram to a Flawed Mangoes song.

It brings a slow and steady bubbling of excitement for the unknown.

We get so hooked on the feeling of what could be that every year we weigh ourselves down

with expectations.

Plaguing our minds with doubt, only for the wonder to fizzle out.

Until we are convinced that the change we were so craving was never meant for us in the

first place.

Why do we deny ourselves little changes?

Life goes on, it won’t wait for you to be ready.

So be reborn, open that door, swallow your fears.

Your anchor is only in your mind.
