Loving Her in the Ether

molten glass clinks to classical music

feet dangle overboard a sunset river cruise

toes kissing water

unwrapping your burgundy dress

you’re the song you sing along to on the radio

sometimes with abandon always with passion

freedom at the touch of fingertips

casual

soft skin on mine

careful glances

lashes intertwined

the first of many

sugary popcorn in between movie seats

pinkies tickle with awareness

warm melted chocolate drizzled over strawberries

dusk soaking into your picnic mat

your lips damp with sweet juice

I would

would you?
